FUNCTIONAL OBEDIENCE TASTER

For Adult Dogs (1 Year+)

This class is a FULL LENGTH Class and is based on the very first Functional Obedience Class Session.

CLASS INFORMATION

• Session will typically last between 60-90 minutes.
• Class size is limited to 12 dogs.
• You will be required to be responsible for your pet and clear-up in the case of any ‘accidents’.
• It is of utmost importance that you are prepared to have some fun and enjoy the process of training!

PREREQUISITES

• Dogs must be 1+ year of age.
• Dogs must have a basic level of obedience and be able to walk on a loose-leash and be responsive to basic position requests.
• Lightly reactive dogs may enroll onto this class.
• Aggressive dogs will not qualify for this class.

PREREQUISITES & EQUIPMENT

• A suitable flat collar and traditional lead will be required for the class. A slip-leash is highly recommended.
• Extendi-leads will not be used for this class.
• Harnesses will not be used for class training but may be worn if desired.
• Slip-Leashes, check chains and Martingale-style (half-check) collars are permitted, if used correctly.
• Food or treats are required for training and can be placed in your pocket or an external bait bag.

This is an outside class so please dress accordingly.
