Upcoming Classes

Just Walk is a complete workshop designed to help you and your dog overcome leash pulling and put it firmly in the past. You will understand the dynamics that can cause your dog to pull and learn the skills and techniques that can be used to overcome this common problem.

This workshop consists of 4 sessions made up of 2 consecutive sessions and the final 2 sessions spaced a couple of weeks apart to give you and your dog time to solidify what you have learned before moving on the the next stage.

AVAILABLE CLASSES

CLASS INFORMATION

• This workshop consists of 4 separate classes.
• Each class will typically last between 60-90 minutes.
• You will be required to be responsible for your dog and clear-up in the case of any ‘accidents’.
• Refunds will not be given. Please see our Terms prior to booking.

PREREQUISITES

• Anybody can join in this class, as long as their dog is 6 months or older.
• Only non-aggressive dogs of the correct age are permitted for enrollment into the class.
• Reactive dogs will be accepted into the class. These classes can help reactivity in some dogs.

EQUIPMENT

• A traditional Training Lead of 6-feet in length (2 metres) will be required for the class.
• A 6-foot (2 metre) slip-leash with rubber stop is highly recommended for this class & can be purchased separately at the class, if required.
• Slip collars, Martingale collars (half-check) and Check Chains are permitted for this class.
• Prong collars are permitted to be used for this class, as long as they are correctly sized & fitted, the dog has been adequately conditioned to use the collar and the handler is proficient in its use.
• Extendi-leads will not be used for this class.
• Halter-style ‘head harnesses’ will not be used for this class.
• Harnesses will not be used for any of our class trainings, but can be worn by the dog, if desired.
• Appropriate food or treats of your choosing are required for training and can be placed in your pocket or an external bait bag.
