If walking with your dog without having your arm pulled out of your socket feels like a distant dream, then perhaps it’s time to make your dreams come true!
Put the nightmare of pulling on-leash firmly to bed and gear yourself up to have a future where your dog actually wants walk with you, rather than be everywhere else!
About JUST WALK
This 4 week dynamic workshop consists of a mixture of ‘classroom’ style educational sessions, indoor obedience classes and outdoor sessions, in the field and on the street. The first two weeks cover your education about why your dog pulls and the techniques you will need to learn to solve this issue, while the last 2 weeks are held bi-weekly, giving you time to work with your dog in one environment, before moving on to the next.
Because of the nature of the class and the amount of time and focus required for each dog and owner, together with between class support, this workshop is limited to 6 dogs.
Owner Education
This “owner only” section explores why dogs pull on leash, the dynamics between dog and owner, together with the tools and techniques that are available to use in order to address issues with pulling.
On-the-Road
It’s no good learning new skills and techniques indoors and not putting them to the test elsewhere. Embedding behaviours in a range of environments outside is an important part of behaviour conditioning.
Basic Skills
Taking time to build the essential skills and techniques required to address leash pulling is vital for success and will re-develop the parts of the relationship that you have with your dog that are absolutely essential for success.
1-2-1 Session
Each dog and owner gets their own private session to work on any issues and cement in training. This gives everybody the time they may need to explore different options and get to a place where they are comfortable with their dogs progress … and their own.
